— Our Story —

A brief, incomplete history.

2021

No name, just the work

A small group of freelancers doing brand and marketing work for founders who needed more than a logo — no agency name, no pitch deck, just word-of-mouth and results.

2023

The pattern becomes clear

Two years in, a shape emerges. The same problems kept showing up across clients — fuzzy positioning, brand work disconnected from business outcomes. We started building a real point of view.

2024

Five years of unnamed work

What started as a loose freelance group had quietly become a practice. The work was consistent enough, the results real enough, that staying nameless no longer made sense.

2025

AgniCorp Media is born

We gave the work a name. AgniCorp Media formalized what five years of freelance strategy had already proven — brand and growth work that holds up under scrutiny.

2025

State of Marketing launches

A plan we'd been carrying for a while finally became real: a publication to share, in public, what we'd learned in private. Zero-fluff teardowns, benchmarks, and essays — built for founders and growth leaders who want signal, not noise.

✦ Who We Are ✦

A magazine for the curious , the patient, and the stubborn.

We publish long-form essays, reporting, and ideas for people who believe that reading is still worth the time it takes to do it properly.

— Our Manifesto —
“We do not believe attention is broken. We believe it has been out of practice. Every essay we publish is a small exercise - a chance to remember what it feels like to finish something.”
— The SOM Editors, Vol. I

Vivek Singh
